Serving Our Community
The Starling FishHawk Homeowners Association Board of Directors is made up entirely of homeowner volunteers who give their time and experience to serve the Starling and Preserve communities. Elected by fellow homeowners, the Board provides oversight of the Association, helps guide community priorities, works closely with management, and makes decisions with the long-term interests of the community in mind. Each director brings a unique perspective and a shared commitment to maintaining the character, quality, and sense of community that make Starling and Preserve great places to call home.
Amanda King
President
Amanda is a 26-year resident of FishHawk Ranch with 24 years of professional experience in community operations management and residential and commercial development. She has served on several boards throughout FishHawk Ranch, including the FishHawk Ranch Master Association, FishHawk Ranch CDDs 1, 2 and 3, and the Starling HOA.
A Florida native, Amanda enjoys spending time outdoors, especially gardening and camping with her husband of 32 years. She is the mother of two grown sons and is very happy to be an empty nester!
India Crawford
Vice President
India has called Starling home since 2012 and currently serves as Vice President of the Starling HOA Board. Before taking on this role, she volunteered with both the VEC and DRC and has held other positions on the HOA Board.
India and her family love calling Starling home. Their daughter attended local schools and graduated from Newsome High School, and India and her dog, Millie, can often be found walking the neighborhood in the evenings. Professionally, India is a director for a fine art logistics company, where she works with museums and galleries.
Scott Peters
Secretary
Scott has served on the Starling HOA Board since 2023 and lives in Service Area One, which is home to the community’s 14 Villa residences. He enjoys volunteering his time to help preserve the community and the low-maintenance lifestyle that he and his neighbors value.
Now retired, Scott continues to give back by volunteering one day each week with ECHO, an organization that helps individuals and families facing life challenges. In his free time, he enjoys pickleball at Hawk Park, camping, and, most importantly, walking his two rescue dogs. Those walks frequently give Scott an opportunity to meet and get to know neighbors throughout the community.

Nagen Singh
Director
Nagen and his family have proudly called Starling home for about six years. He and his wife, Archita, have two children, ages 10 and 4. Nagen works in technology for a large auditing firm and enjoys early morning runs through the neighborhood, playing tennis, biking, and traveling with his family.
Nagen has served the community in various roles on the HOA Board and sees his involvement as an opportunity to give back. He believes strong communities are built when neighbors work together toward a common goal and is grateful for the opportunity to play a part in that effort.
Reginald Butler Sr.
Director
Reginald W. Butler Sr. is a proud Preserve resident, retired U.S. Army combat veteran, motivational speaker, and holds a Doctorate in Business Leadership. Guided by faith, hope, and love, he brings a strong commitment to service and integrity to his involvement in the community.
Reginald believes, “It’s not about what the community can do for us, but how we, as a community, can support one another, provide solutions, and uplift those around us.” He enjoys community engagement, beautification projects, supporting the military community, helping others, and spending time with his family.
